Mollie is 2...
No, it is not her birthday again, it is just she is acting more and more like a 2 year old everyday. This past week, work has been pretty busy and I have had to spend a little more time on the computer during the day, which I usually try and avoid. Well, I learned the hard way, why I have been avoiding it.
Tuesday, she completely emptied my cupboards and laid everything out neatly on the floor. I was actually ok with it, since it was needing some organization, so I let her have fun, it kept her busy for over and hour and now my cupboard is neat and clean.
Notice at this point, she had already started putting things away. (Forgive my dirty floors, I told you it has been a busy week!)
Thursday she decided to get ready to go, we were headed out to go to Target and I had just finished her hair. I left the bathroom mistake #1 and not 2 minutes later when I returned this was what I found. She decided mascara made lovely lipstick. Ya, if you sing with KISS. AAAgghh. mistake #2. Because I am such a brilliant parent in my efforts to clean her up, I explained mascara is not for lips it is for eyes. Guess what? The next day, she got the mascara and put it on her eyes. Sorry no picture of this, but imagine a clown, ya, that's what she looked like.

She is so much fun, but wow, she is a busy little monkey!

Welcome Zander J. Weeks
My sister Paula and Carl have a new addition to their family and we are so excited about him. He was born early this morning, perfectly healthy and happy. Hopefully, they will be bringing him home early next week so I can meet him. They arrived safely in Colorado a little before their birth mom went in to labor. So, they were there for the delivery, what a blessing. He is 19 1/2 inches long and weighs 6 pounds 3 oz. Kya is thrilled and already mothering him, as Paula says. Anyway, we are really excited and pray for them and his birth parents as this is not an easy time for them, but how grateful our family is for their love and sacrifice and the choice they have made. Keep them in your prayers.

I have completely slowed down in Blogging I have decided there is one reason to blame for this and it is Facebook. I have become a Facebook junkie. I confess. I have reconnected with friends I never thought I would see again, cousins who I only see every 2 years and my sisters on a daily basis, (OK, that pretty much happens anyway). I feel like I know what is going on in the world on a bigger scale than my little life in Twin Falls. I love it, so if you don't see my here in blogger country, come on over to facebook, it's a party. I will still post occasionally, but right now facebook fits me better.

Basketball Season
Well, once again that time of year has come around again and Reagan is back playing basketball. So much fun, and there is nothing more intriguing than watching 1st grade basketball. Teams of kids who talk like they are the next Michael Jordan and strut around before the game with their water bottles, baggy shorts, and a basketball. Tough. Then the game starts and it is awesome, chaos and comedy. I love it. This Saturday was Reagan's first game and it was really fun to watch. We were pleased with Reagan and he had fun which is what is the best part. Of course, the girls had a blast running under the bleachers, that brought back memories.Thursday, January 8, 2009

A New Post
At the request of my sister, I am adding a new post. It has been a while and I realize, I am not the only one. The world of blogging seems to have taken quite a break. Why is that? Anywho, we had such a wonderful Christmas holiday and New Year. Knock on wood, no one was sick and we were able to play and have fun the whole time. It was great to have EJ home, as well as Mark and Jacque, and Matt and Rachel. After the holidys we spent some time with Rhett and Cassie and Shea and Kent. I feel very spoiled living in the same town as both sets of parents, it is truly a blessing. I will post some pictures later, but as much as anything, just wanted to move on from the Christmas blog look.
